Foot and Ankle Program

Foot Ankle Program

Injuries to the foot and ankle are unique due to the complex nature of movement and interaction between the foot and ankle and the rest of the body. This program is nationally recognized by athletic trainers and players from the National Football League (NFL), National Basketball Association (NBA) and Major League Baseball (MLB), the men’s and women’s Professional Golfers Association (PGA), and Major League Soccer (MLS).

The program is designed by Dan Vogelbach, PT, ATC/L, and is uniquely designed to restore normal function for return to athletic competition or normal daily activities. Each program is individually designed for foot and ankle disorders. A patient undergoes a biomechanical examination looking at how the foot and ankle interact with each other and with the rest of the body.

The rehabilitation program is designed to restore function as quickly and safety as possible. Each individual is then placed through their skill set for their sport or physical activity prior to being released back to full participation.

Components of the Foot and Ankle Program also include biomechanical analysis of specific sports activities including golf, tennis, gymnastics, and gait analysis. The use of temporary orthotic devices to expedite the rehabilitation process are used when needed. Custom orthotics and shoe evaluations are also provided based on the individual’s needs.
