About Sports Specialty and Rehabilitation Centers

Our Sports Specialty and Rehabilitation Centers focus on the care and treatment of athletes. This specialized form of physical therapy is provided by trained and certified professionals who understand the mental and physical components of athletics. We also understand the mechanics of various sports and the stresses that they place on an athlete’s body, which is why we focus on treating these patients.

Sports Specialty and Rehabilitation has clinicians with over 50 years of experience in treating athletes in all forms of sports, from the professional ranks to young athletes just beginning their sports endeavors. The gamut of experiences at our centers runs from being the Athletic Trainer for professional sports teams as well as being a consultant to the NBA, NFL, MLB, and Professional Soccer to working with Division I college programs and high school/young athletes.

Sports Specialty and Rehabilitation Centers provide treatment of athletic injuries that restore the athlete to their highest level of function so that they may return to their sport as quickly and safely as possible. Components of the program in addition to treatment of the injury includes: biomechanical analysis of the sport through video analysis, functional progression based on the sport prior to returning to practice, and any type of bracing and/or support needed to aid in their return to participation.
